Cookie Policy
This page is intended to help you understand how Florence Beauty, LLC (aka Florence by Mills) (“FBM”) uses cookies and other tracking technologies and how you can opt out of these cookies and/or such other technologies. FBM may use cookies and other tracking technologies on the online and mobile FBM services and any FBM controlled websites, platforms or apps (the “Services”).
A. What Technologies are Used?
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer or mobile device to uniquely distinguish your visit to a website or use of an online service or mobile application. The information that cookies collect includes the date and time of your visit and your registration information. Cookies may offer you many conveniences for the Services and allow FBM to recognize certain information, such as your browser type, so FBM knows if you can view certain plug-ins or extensions. They also allow FBM to streamline your visit to and usage of the Services based on your previous visits and usage.
Cookies may be either permanent or temporary. FBM may use both temporary and permanent cookies. A temporary or “session” cookie is placed on your computer or mobile device during your visit to any of the Services and is deleted when you exit your Internet browser, the mobile application, and/or turn off your device. A permanent or “persistent” cookie means that the cookie stays on your hard drive or device until you delete it. You can delete FBM’s permanent cookie at any time by following the instructions contained in your browser’s help file, or by contacting the company providing your browser’s or device’s technical support. FBM does not use cookies to store information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers or any other highly sensitive Personal Information.
Cookies may be “first party” or “third party.” Cookies that are managed by FBM only are first party cookies, while all other cookies are third party cookies.
Web Beacons/Pixel Tags
Web Beacons are typically invisible to you and are generally embedded in very small clear graphics files. “Pixel Tags” are small strings of computer code that provide a method for delivering a graphic image on a web page or other medium. Pixel Tags allow the party who serves the Pixel Tag, to set, read, and modify some of FBM’s cookies.
FBM may use Web Beacons and Pixel Tags to monitor certain non-personally identifiable information about you, including the URL of the page from which the Web Beacon or Pixel Tag originated, the type of browser used, the time you viewed the Web Beacon or Pixel Tag. While Web Beacons and Pixel Tags do not collect Personal Information, the information collected by them may be used in conjunction with cookies to identify aggregate information about users of the Services.
B. Types of Cookies and Tracking Technologies Used
Strictly Required Cookies
These cookies are necessary for operation the Services and cannot be switched off, although you may be able to set your browser to block these cookies, however, this may affect the way the Services operate. These cookies are only set in direct response to actions you take, such as selecting your language or privacy preferences. FBM uses these cookies to authenticate you, help detect and prevent fraud, and provide you with properly operating Services.
Functional Cookies
These cookies are used to recognize you when you return to the Services. They are used to help FBM remember your preferences and choices so that we can deliver the Services, monitor the Services, and offer you enhanced functionality when using the Services. These cookies can be set by FBM or by third-party service providers. If you do not allow these cookies, some of the Services may not work properly.
Reporting and Analytics Cookies
These cookies allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the Services when they are using them. These cookies are used to help FBM understand how you access and use the Services, so that we can make improvements.
Marketing and Retargeting Cookies
These are cookies that are usually set by marketing and advertising partners. They may be used to build a profile of your interest and later show you relevant ads. If you do not allow these cookies, you will not experience targeted ads for your interests. However, FBM does not use any of these types of cookies at this time.

D. Cookie Preferences
You can opt-out of cookies by enabling an opt-out preference signal or Global Privacy Control on your Internet browser. You can visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org/ for more information on Global Privacy Controls.
You can accept or reject all cookies that are not strictly necessary for the Services to function and otherwise manage your cookie settings by clicking on our Cookie Choices widget, which you can launch at any time by clicking on the heart shaped cookie icon located on the bottom right corner of our website
E. Managing Cookies and Tracking Technologies
You can accept or reject some or all cookies by setting or adjusting your Internet browser settings. You can visit www.allaboutcookies.org which provides general information about cookies, how you can manage cookies on your computer, and how you can set or adjust your Internet browser’s cookie settings.
However, opting out, disabling or denying cookies may render parts of the Services inaccessible or may cause certain web pages not to properly load.
There are also several services and websites which allow you to visit websites, including the Services, anonymously. Again, you may not be able to access or use all of the content or services available on or in the Services if you use these anonymizing services or websites.
If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics, you can download and install an opt-out browser add-on for certain browsers by visiting Google’s page here https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
If you change computers or browsers or devices or use multiple computers or browsers or devices or delete FBM’s cookies, you will need to repeat these processes for each computer, each browser, and each device.
F. Managing Tracking Technologies on Your Mobile Device
Mobile devices may allow you to manage how other technologies, such as unique identifiers are set and used. For example, the Advertising ID on Android devices or Apple’s Advertising Identifier can be managed in your device’s settings. Please reference your mobile operating system support documentation to learn more.
G. Questions
